Grand Band Entertainment is the Booking Agency company affiliated with The Grand Band show and dance band.  It is a licensed business operating in Spanish Fort, Alabama (8 miles East of Mobile), mainly serving the Gulf Coast and Southeastern region areas, but booking nationwide.

The Glenn Normand Band was started in the early 1970's and also used the name The Grand Band, for the bigger show group version of his smaller combo.  The bands were so successful that a booking agency was started to handle the many requests for music, magic and comedy that resulted from the Southeast exposure of The Grand Band.  See Glenn Normand Band/Grand Band History

Originally the sales company was The Grand Band Booking Agency.  In 1981, Bands Inc. was acquired, and the two companies were merged into Bands Agency.  Around 1992, the name was changed to Bands & Entertainment, and that company was sold in 1996.  With the arrival of two new children,  retirement was no longer an option, so  The Grand Band Entertainment Agency was resurrected in 1998.  Today, our internet presence acquires new buyers from all over the country, while some of our long time customers have been booking with us for well over 30 years.

Our purpose is to put the buyers, who need quality entertainment, together with the acts that want quality work. Using sensible, proven formulas and proposals, we help ensure a trouble free event.  The end result is that the buyers and acts want to work together again, and the guests are thoroughly entertained and satisfied.  We have no exclusive acts that have been promised work, so we are free to suggest the most appropriate ones for a buyer's needs, facility and budget.

Our customers tell us they love working with us, again and again. They've observed they can relax, enjoy their events, and know we will take care of the entertainment presentation.  We treat our buyers like valued customers should be treated, and apparently, it's the right thing to do to stay in business over 40 years.

You might notice that we are one the very few agencies on the web that list ownership and give full disclosure of terms, act fees, and contracts up front.  There are never hidden costs, and the acts see, use, and sign the same contract that    we send to the buyers.    We are proud of what we do, what we've accomplished, and welcome the opportunity to serve our customers in the future.
